ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday discussed the situation in the violence-hit Kashmir valley.
The army chief, who called on the Prime Minister Nawaz here at the PM House, also discussed internal and external security situation – including regional stability.
The prime minister had arrived in Islamabad after almost 60 days. He was convalescing from a heart surgery in London and was then delayed in Lahore due to a leg infection.
PM Nawaz will also preside over a national security meeting later during the day. Apart from Indian atrocities in Kashmir, matters related to the National Action Plan, Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operation would also come under discussion during the meeting.
