LAHORE: A woman’s head was shaved after being tortured by her in-laws in Samanabad area on Friday.
Sanobar got married with her husband – who’s searching for a job in Saudi Arabia – about ten months ago. However, her new family did not allow visits to and from her parents.
The victims’ parents came to meet their daughter on Friday when Sanobar’s in-laws did not allow their meeting and when she insisted on going against it, her sister-in-law tortured her and then shaved her head. Police arrested Sanobar’s sister-in-law and a case has been registered against her.
