KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that the accountability needs to start from the prime minister and Nawaz Sharif needs to present him for ‘democratic accountability’.
“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will now have to present himself for accountability and the accountability needs to be democratic,” Bilawal said – while addressing a public rally in Dharki area of Ghotki District in the Sindh province.
The PPP chairman criticised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government and said that the policies pursued by the government ‘are some of the worst in the history of Pakistan’ as the strategy has divided the general public.
