It was important to St. Nicholas that the website would allow for various staff members to make updates frequently and have the homepage change and update frequently. We decided this would best be achieved if the site was built using WordPress as the content management system (CMS).

Father Jeff records his sermons and he wanted to provide congregation members and prospective members the ability to listen to the sermons via the website.  Zowbie provided this feature by implementing a podcast feature into the website.

We also integrated the church’s Google calendar into the site so that congregation members and visitors could see service times, youth group outings, etc.

They also wanted to be able to provide the ability to download the church’s monthly newsletter as a PDF file…this was achieved easily using file transfer protocol (FTP) and some simple instruction from Zowbie.

Additional site features include; news feed, comments feed, search feature, eNews and Updates, and a custom coded navigation menu.

Paran North Church was looking for a new concept as they began a website redesign process. Zowbie Consulting provided them with fresh ideas to expand their perspective wider and have a more interactive church website for its congregation members.  The website was designed using Adobe Dreamweaver and integrated Adobe Flash and Adobe Fireworks into the design of the site.

Unfortunately, Mount Paran North Church opted to use internal members of its congregation for the site’s design.
