And here’s an explanation about what a Content Management System is…on my blog. Indeed, blogs can be considered a form of CMS. It should be noted though that not all Content Management Systems are blogs, yet simply a way to maintain data and content on a website through a publishing system/software which provides a graphical user interface to allow users to update their website and not require the knowledge of HTML or code.

Nice article. Here’s the most simplistic explanation I have to illustrate blogs compared to websites:

All blogs are websites, but not all websites are blogs. A blog is a website that streams new information & content on a regular basis. Many websites are static and unchanging – the content never changes. Blogs have a steady feed of new articles & fresh content.
